Corned Beef Spaghetti with vegetables

Jollof spaghetti with veggies and corned beef

This meal came in handy when we got home after the long trip to Agbokim waterfalls. There was no time to go shopping and we had to just think of something that will cook fast. These were part of our luggage from Abuja and cooked in less than thirty minutes.
The taste was great and I enjoyed chewing the shredded carrots in there.

How To Bake Cake Without An Oven (Updated recipe)

baking cake in a cooking pot

Baking Nigerian cake is very easy whether with or without oven. What many people do not know is that Nigerian cake is actually pound cake, can be baked in a bread pan, doesn't require much mixing.
The girls and I tried to save gas at the village by baking with firewood. Everyone that ate the cake complimented it. I did not eat though because I am really struggling with reduction of my sugar intake. Visitors and family enjoyed the cake.
We did the mixing together, but the girls designed their

A Tour Of The Agbokim WaterFalls In Pictures

Just got back from touring the Agbokim waterfalls. I tried to see if it connects, and though very slow internet connection here, I am still happy that I can post a few pics. The day was full of adventure. We were ten in number that made the trip.

The excitement on the faces of the young ladies when I announced to them this morning that we will be visiting the waterfalls in Cross River State. The trip was uneventful except for good music and video CDs that I packed for the girls and which kept us company, some fell asleep in the car, but once the kids set eyes on the waterfalls and the vapor around the falls, the atmosphere changed automatically. We took so many pics and I hope to upload more later.
Posing for photographs on a hill beside the Agbokim water falls. Lol!

5 Books That Help Kids Appreciate A Healthy Diet

Eating healthy is what we all strive to do daily. For adults, it is not so difficult because we know what happens if we do not eat healthy, however, for many kids, the only thing they enjoy and want  is something very sweet ( sugary). Getting kids to eat healthy can be quite a challenge sometimes. Instead of good food, most kids would rather go for snacks; chocolates, lollipops, cookies, ice creams and a host of sweet foods. These foods are good only when eaten with moderation, they'd become a problem when a child begins to want to live only on them.
It’s one thing to make sure your kids maintain a healthy diet; it’s quite another to get them to appreciate exactly why they need to be eating what you put in front of them. That’s where

10 iPhone Apps That Can Help You When You’re Lost by Emma Roberts

Few things are as nerve-wracking as realizing that you’re lost, whether you’re in a completely unfamiliar city or simply a neighborhood in your hometown that you don’t know very well. It wasn’t so long ago that you’d be left to fend for yourself, asking strangers for directions until you found your way back to a place that you knew. These days, however, the popular

Any Ideas On How To Create A Fun Christmas Holiday For Kids?

 Christmas Decorations
A fun-filled holiday does not just happen, it has to be created. Making kids happy with fun memories is something that we need to plan. Sometimes, holidays come and go and the only time we realize that the holiday has passed by is when we start getting them ready for school. How can one really create a memorable Christmas for kids? I am not talking about robbing a bank or organizing big fat children parties and all that. No! I mean a simple but memorable holiday.

Between Water And Electricity

 Free Flowing Natural Water
Now I'd understand better when I hear someone say "water is life."  There has not been a single drop of running water in my area for about four days now. Water board announced that they were having problems and that by Saturday  water will begin to run again. Saturday ran by, Sunday crawled along and now, Monday has arrived. Today is a working day and people are really in need of pure portable water.
Now, to you Water Board, *a promise not kept* and to

Today Must Not End Until I...

Christmas in the post-War United States
Christmas (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
I have been out and very busy the whole day. Wow! Just like a flash, the year is ending. By this time last year, I saw December 2012 like a period of time that will take pretty long before coming. Right now, it's still just like yesterday. When I was younger. December took so long to come. I waited and prayed for Christmas. I waited too long but right now, December comes when I am not even ready. Is it old age that is causing this? Because, I hear that time flies faster when you are growing older. Haba! I am not yet old abeg, Just a few years back I was still a student. Not graying yet, not making noises when sitting or standing up yet. Those are the early signs I guess?

OK, today is World Aids Day, I remember when I first heard about HIVAids. The fear then eh. It was like even sitting close to an infected person could be fatal. See me now teaching others that you can even share  a cup or toilet seat without getting infected, Alright o!

Today has been fun! I always want the month to start well. I hate sadness or pain on the first day of any month. I hate to receive bad news on the first. I hate hard luck on the first. I hate shedding a tear in the beginning of a month. Today, I danced

My Kind Of Love For Polygamist Family Sister Wives

When a man gets married to multiple wives, he owns all these wives and remains the head of the family.  On the part of the wives, they MUST remain loyal and faithful to the polygamous man. While most cultures frown heavily at it, In Africa, we see one or two Heads Of Government Living that Lifestyle. Those in it seem very happy. They say it is their choice and that they are loving it. They will not trade that lifestyle for anything. I have seen co-wives making uniformed outfits  and even ganging up against their husband sometimes. All the wives in a polygamous marriage are seen as mothers to every child in that family, whether biological or step. The term step-mom term doesn't exist among them. The children are taught to see all the wives as their biological mothers, while the women try as much as possible to treat children of their co wives as they would their biological children.

It is a free world, everyone is free to choose the lifestyle they want provided that it does not hurt anyone. This lifestyle, is not

I Am First To Finish. For How Long?

This morning, I am seriously considering our everyday winner gets a gift thing. It is becoming a chore for me with having to get something for the first to finish on a daily basis. At the end of the day, it is not only the winner who takes it. The loser also gets something because I cannot endure the cries and promises to do better next time.

At the beginning of this School session, I felt a little bit relaxed when it comes to morning rush. This is because the two "senior" girls have left for boarding School and it felt like "OK, with this two little ones, the work is reduced by half," I was sooo wrong.

Re: Your Marriage Can Work, If You Make It Happen

Nigerian wedding picture image courtesy: In Love Naija.

After reading her story, It felt like the Sophia here has done what we should be doing to let the single ladies know that marriage is a Union that requires hard work. There are no two marriages that are the same. There is so much talk about divorce these days. Many singles have become scared of  commitments. Some go into marriage with BIG expectations, and when it is not what they envisaged, they rush out almost immediately.
There is so much about woman empowerment and equality before the law. I am a believer in these, but I do not think that a "modern marriage"  is one where the woman goes into power struggle, or shows no  respect  at all for her husband, or where the woman talks to her husband like a no body. Whether we like it or not, In Africa, the man is still the head of his family and he deserves that respect. I am a believer in *any marriage can work if you make it happen.*

I have been married for over twelve years and the truth is my marriage is more peaceful now than when we got married initially. I remember times I practically

Your Best Christmas Shopping From The Nigerian Market Woman

The market woman trades on  food items, fruits, vegetables  and even household goods and appliances at the open market. The Nigerian open market is where we get to bargain for items before payment. I spoke with a friend just last week, She is Nigerian but her family left the country when she was still a child. She lived and studied abroad. She is in the country because according to her, their Father thinks that if they continue to study and begin to raise families abroad, that he will lose them forever. Where he got that idea no one knows. Her brother and sister have been sent down to study in Universities over here. He believes that giving them a University Education back home will provide an  opportunity for the girls to find love and raise their families where he can always get to see his grand children.

Nora had no idea that when you go shopping for food items at the open market, you are supposed to bargain, to try and 'beat' down the price  to its barest minimum. She loves to get her fruits and vegetables from the open market but never bargained. I guess the traders recognized her as a newbie in the system and took advantage of that. The items she buys are always too small for the amount of money spent. When I discovered that, I had to give some tutorials on how to shop from 'our' open market.
The tutorial

Eya, Learn A Second Language!

French homework
French homework (Photo credit: eefeewahfah)
Learning a foreign language has become very necessary for me. Kids bring homework for supervision, I do it successfully in all other subjects except French Language. Every time there is home work in French Language, I keep my head straight,  put a little frown on,  before giving the response " Leave that one for Daddy or go check Online" If I do not put that little frown that makes me very serious, I will have to answer too many questions for not knowing  the answers to "that simple French Homework"

The kids are learning French in School. Hubby can speak English, French and  German fluently and even a bit of Japanese, so, why can't I just try to speak at least one foreign language. Am I that dull?  I announce to them on Sunday evening that before this year ends, I will not only be learning but speaking French Language in this house. They ask how and I refuse to say.  Why should I?  when all I want is shock them with speaking.
There was no time to start yesterday as planned,

My Less Expensive But Classy Nigerian Wedding

Well, there is no wedding video here. This is not about my wedding video, LOL!  It is about what I consider Less Expensive But Classy when it comes to Nigerian Wedding. It is also about what is "acceptable wedding" in the Nigerian Society.
In the past, Nigerian weddings were less stressful and cheaper. Then people wedded according to what obtained in their tribes. Then, the Aso-ebi was more of a Yoruba thing. The only weddings where people attended  in uniformed dresses were  those by The Yorubas. A bride and groom from another part of the country focused on what obtains in their tribes and just did that.

Again the Aso-ebi was only used during the Church (white) Wedding. The Traditional Marriage Ceremony was usually conducted without friends of the bride and groom making Uniform dresses. The highlight is just the bride and groom who attend dressed in their traditional attires. The bride picked her 'colors' for just the Church Wedding alone. For the Registry and Tradition, guests were free to wear what ever they chose.
The trend has really shifted, and shifted even more in our twenty first centuryNigeria, which is a

A Letter To My Daughters

My Dearest Cuties,
How are you doing today? Hope you are doing great and having a good time?  We are fine except that we miss you so much. We are eagerly looking forward to the Christmas holiday. The days seem so slow while the nights drag too long. In just three weeks we are going to be together. These three weeks seem like a whole year to me. How are your friends? Do you find time to talk a little and have some fun or do you just read read read and read?

Every evening I imagine you two reading in the School library. I see you walk back to your different rooms and Shaloooo, I see you waving goodnight to your little sister Boboo and I just wish that you two share the same room or hostel. If it were possible, I would have ensured that you both sleep side by side.
It is shocking how

Is Anything Wrong With Being Realistic?

Let’s BE REAL
There is something bothering me. I am trying to find out one thing. Being realistic about life, does it mean  a realistic person lacks faith? What I see around me and in this part of the world is something that is making me go into serious thoughts.

Once upon a time in my dear country, when you ask a friend why she is not looking too well, she answers with words like; I have a cold, I am not feeling too well today, I've caught the flu, I have a sore throat, I have a running stomach, My head aches, I feel pain on my knees, I am down with a fever and so on. This was a few years back. Right now, it is different. When I see depressed looks, I cannot say what is wrong with even my own friends, and colleagues.
The new trend is "It is well" This response

High Heeled Shoes? Not Anymore

A short Comment I left at Romance Meets Life inspired  this post. While admiring Myne's collection of  lovely high heeled shoes, the memories just came right back. Never thought I'd say this here, but the discussion  after my comment made me decide to share. I love heels especially platforms. They help you walk elegantly. When you wear high heeled shoes your steps are taken care of. Even without much on, you feel confident and classy. I love platforms, I love heels. However, a fall I had recently made me decide to reduce my inches when it comes to beautiful stilts:

My husband and I were at a

25 Good Things Your Nigerian Church Can Do For You

  1. Provide snacks for Children Sunday School classes. This will help you save a little cash. Buying snacks by the church gate for kids before taking them to their classes? Shouldn't the offerings these kids give be used to make their classes more fun?  I used to frown at Birthday celebrations that take place in Children classes, but not any more. If not for these celebrations, there will be no form of entertainment for kids apart from singing, clapping and dancing.

  2. Stop telling little Kids who haven't started earning any income that not bringing offering is a sin. The parent's Tithe and offering covers them too.

  3. Stop making members feel like God is some kind of magician who calculates the amount you give him and instantly makes you rich when you give big amounts. God is no magician, he works in mysterious ways.

  4. Tell the congregation that God is interested first in you as a person. I am yet to see where God says that if you need a big car, you have to SOW  your property or a huge amount of cash to get it. Tell the people that he is not a God of  " The more you give the more you get"

  5. Teach members that loud singing and clapping by 5am, Use of  microphones early in the morning and late at night in residential areas can be classified under noise pollution.

Why You Don't Need A Domestic Servant While Still Parenting

    1. You must sit straight up. Bending forward is not permitted as it may splash toilet water on your bum. Bending forward may soil the whole place when you have a running stomach. Sitting straight sends it straight down and neat too.

  2. You must not talk while in there. Lips must

  3. Do not forget to spray the deodorant before leaving. Spraying more than once can be offensive and choking so one pufffff is enough.

How Divorce Affects Some Children

Just this year, we read about Pastor Chris Okotie's divorce, or separation from Stephanie Henshaw. This morning I am reading about Bishop David Benenoch's announcement to his church. He has told his congregation that he is divorcing his wife of 20 years.
No Couple goes  into marriage with prayers to divorce in the future. Divorce is never sweet for anyone. Yes! What happens to Kids after a separation or Divorce?

  1. Kids become unhappy as they cannot see one parent often. They probably saw both parents daily, but  now, it is one parent at a time.

There is something about humans. Have you realized that when too many people are engaged in something that is wrong, it begins to feel right?  When you see too many people doing something that you feel is not quite right, after a while, that same thing begins to feel Ok, and you are enticed to join the multitude.

Life is easier when we go along with the flow. Things just seem to work themselves out when you just play along. The difficult part of life, the part that is not so enjoyable is the part that

5 Characteristics Of A Nagging Woman

Marriage Day
Marriage Day (Photo credit: Fikra)
A nagging woman is the direct opposite of a peace loving woman. Any woman who complains all the time, always and daily has something to complain about is a nagging woman. A nagging woman is seldom happy. She is dissatisfied, has something to complain about, and feels like no body really does what she wants.  A nagging spouse believes that her happiness depends on others. She looks for people who can do her every whim, obey her commands, grant her every wish, and ask her for life directions.

Tips On Holding Successful Family Meetings

We can use family meetings as a tool for building stronger family relationships. The Agenda for a family meeting should be determined by every member of the family including the children. There should be some place in the house where every body includes what they want the family to talk about. It is important that every member of the family be given the opportunity to include topics that they want discussed. A family meeting agenda can be flexible or formal depending on your family. In order to ensure that family meetings are a success, here are a few things to remember:

How You Can Build A United Family

Building a united family starts with the understanding that a wholesome family is the strength of society. Any man or woman who destroys the family has destroyed civilization. The home is where kindness, loyalty and love begins. It is where we find purpose. It is the smallest unit of the larger society. There is no place like home. Our children should be taught to spend more time at home than with the neighbors or friends. A united family is a united society. A united family impacts on the lives of it's children.

How To Discipline, Not Punish The Children

There is a big difference between discipline and punishment, as parents and guardians, we sometimes punish while trying to discipline kids. We also punish unconsciously because we do not know where to draw the line, and do not realize when discipline has taken the form of punishment.

Discipline is the means by which we correct faulty behavior in kids and them them correct and acceptable behavior. When we discipline children, we teach self-control and obedience, we try to shape the child's behavior away from what is not desired towards what is desired.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DISCIPLINE AND PUNISHMENT

  1. Discipline considers the level of maturity and capacity of the child, whereas punishment is what

Tips For Emotional Separation In Marriage

Emotional Separation can come in even when partners are still living under one room. It is to be physically present but emotionally absent. Emotional Separation is Physical divorce waiting to happen! It is a situation where a couple are no longer friends but "frienemies "or competitors or permit me to say " room mates."

Emotional Separation is a situation in a family where a husband and his wife only try to get close and talk just because the children are around, once the kids, guests or other family members depart, the couple coil back into their individual lives waiting patiently

How You Can Build Confidence In Children (1)

My Four year old tells me that to be confident is to be bold, believe in yourself and be sure of yourself. I laugh and give her a hug. I have not explained it this way to her, and I know that there is no way she could have said it this well without her teachers' effort. Kudos!

When you feel really good about yourself, you will find it much easier to get along with others. At any point in time, when you don't feel good, getting along with others becomes a difficult task to perform. A child who does not feel good about him/herself, finds it difficult to get along with other kids in the neighborhood, at school and even siblings and extended family members.

My Secret For True Beauty

"The beauty of a woman isn't only in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes; because that's the doorway to her heart, The place where love resides. The beauty of a woman isn't in a facial mole; but true beauty in a woman is reflected by her soul. It's the caring that she cares to give,
the passion that she shows; and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows."
Maya Angelou et al.
Inferiority complex can make a woman hide her potentials and lose her happiness. We should not look for others to affirm our beauty because

How to Overcome a Break Up ( contd)

With all the pain and hurt in you heart, consciously plaster a smile on your face. As much as you can, wear a smile. He does not see the frown anymore, so, let others who look at you, see the beautiful smiling face. Do not carry a blank face like a mourner. Try not to let his exit affect the way you showcase yourself to other people OK? Remember the following:

  • You must start by putting in extra energy, like forcing yourself to look good. Wear make up, dress smartly and beautifully.
  • Include dance and exercise in your daily or weekly routine and experience the difference after each round.
  • Look in the mirror frequently,

How to get over a Failed Relationship

According to Dalai Lama,
"When we fall in love with someone, we are essentially experiencing the love that was within us all along. The person is merely acting like a mirror, reflecting our soul back to us."
If there is  a falling in love, then we must accept that there should also be a falling apart. One thing is sure in this life, and that is , that every relationship must come to an end.If circumstances of life do not end a relationship, then death will definitely do that. Always have it in mind that no relationship will last for ever. The truth is, it is either now or later.
When there is a break up, we should not think that our happiness is taken away because, honestly,

How can I discover my true self?

While growing up in my village, I started even as a young girl, to gather other kids my age, and begin to teach them by mimicking my favorite teacher then, Mr Williams, may his soul rest in peace. I will hold a cane in my left hand with a piece of  chalk on the other. Stand in front of my friends and try to teach whatever I learnt in school that day. Surprisingly,
these kids parents return to thank me for a class that was supposed to be like children playing. The kids go back home, recite whatever I taught them and their parents are impressed. I grow older, and as a teenager, I begin to teach the children's Sunday school class in my local church.
Then I grow much older, I graduate into teaching the teenage Sunday school class, and honestly I still remember the faces of those who came to tell me how my teaching affected their lives.

Successful blogging: Tips for busy wives, mothers and great bloggers

Earlier on, in a post I published before this one, I had talked on blogging tips for beginners and those who want to start blogging but have not really made up their minds. You can read it on this blog.

For the blogger wife, mother and very busy person, there is a very big temptation to reduce blogging to the very minimum or just postpone it till further notice. Here are a few tips to guide you in your journey into excellent blogging: I am going to take it under three sub headings:

Being a wife comes with a lot of responsibilities, you are no longer attending to the needs of one, but two or more people. Any wife who can successfully include blogging, especially News blogging into her schedule deserves an award. Yes! I am not saying this because  Iam a wife, NO. I say this with confidence because I am still trying to do this successfully and can confirm that is is not an easy task for any wife.

Every blogger has a time of the day that they feel is most favourable for posting and being present online. Any blogger will want to dedicate this time fully to being online,

Blogging tips for beginners, wives and very busy bloggers

Blogging is not just what you do for leisure, just like I said in an earlier post.
Successful blogging has rules that should be followed, it has what I call due process that has to be observed. IF you are just blogging for fun, you are just doing it because other people are doing it, then this post may not be relevant to you.
However, if your purpose is to do something online, share your thoughts and experiences and benefit from it, then you are at the right place.

You spend so much money fueling your generating set to have electricity, that is if you live in Nigeria and other third world countries. You pay heavily to subscribe for internet connection too. So, doing something that will bring some profits is not a bad idea at all. Whatever your reason for blogging may be, try as much as possible to also make money online. Blogging for fun does not stop us from putting some adverts on our sites and making a little if not much money out of it.

Whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. If I cannot put my best into blogging, than there is no point starting in the first place. We MUST ALWAYS STRIVE TO EXCEL. No matter what we do in life, Excellence should be our watchword. even if we are blogging because people say blogging is fun, we must try to be among the best and not among the "not so good"

True Beauty and me

Beauty has to do with what I see and admire, it has to also do with what pleases the senses. When I look at a woman and like the sight, then  she is beautiful.
Beauty to me is what I like, whatever shape, color height, size so on, If I like it then it is beautiful. When I dress up and I am going out, if I like my outfit, and  can smile at myself  in the mirror, then I am beautiful. However, when I put on a dress with all the necessary accessories,  I look in the mirror, and do not like what I see there, then I will not feel beautiful in that  particular outfit.

Jewelries, all kinds of accessories, nice shoes, great bags and gorgeous outfits are great and can boost confidence. However, they cannot make me feel great if I do not like the person in  the mirror, or do not smile at that woman looking back at me in the mirror.

I do not really need compliments to know that I am, or to feel beautiful. Once I am confident in whatsoever  is on me before stepping out of the house, I glow, even without a word from anyone.

There were times in the past that I changed my hairstyle after a day or two, with reasons being that  no one

Boiled and pounded egg plant

boiled, salted unripe plantain

Raw unripe plantain and egg plant (garden egg)

this is a very colourful, sumptuous, well prepared and delicious p.

This stew can also be eaten with boiled yam, boiled potatoes, boiled rice and even fried plantain ( dodo). Unripe plantain is my all time favourite cause it is not sweet, and it gives that natural fluffiness and taste of plantain if well cooked.

How to prepare this meal:
Cooking direction for garden egg stew with plantain...
  1. Firstly, I peeled and boiled the plantain with a little salt to taste.
  2. Then, I cut the the egg plant into halves, boiled till soft and then pounded in a mortar. The boiled garden egg can also be blended if you want a very smooth paste.  ( The egg plant can also be chopped into tiny pieces and fried in cooking oil without boiling or pounding.  Sometimes I prefer to just chop and fry because it cooks faster. but then, the frying takes longer because it has to cook in oil until tender. When the oil begins to dry up, some drops of water can be added to prevent the pot from getting burnt.).
  3. I heated the oil, then added the chopped onion with some ground crayfish, allowed the two to fry for about 10 seconds before adding the egg plant. The mixture is stirred and  allowed  to fry till a little bit soft,
  4. added the ground crayfish, fish ( Remember to pick all the fish bones and remove the skin too),  pepper, salt and seasoning to taste. Note that if you like it with some tomato, it has to be very little, like a teaspoon quantity so that it doesn't change the taste of the garden egg stew, and it should be added at the same time with the egg plant. I like it without tomatoes.

The mixture is allowed to boil in the oil. I added a tablespoon  water to get my desired consistency and allowed the stew to cook till tender. I added a pinch of salt to my taste, and then, the table is set. It is such a great variety after eating too much of tomato stew.
I so love this meal. It is natural and healthy. The taste of fried egg plant is so great.
NOTE: Any other type of edible  egg plant can  be used for this nutritious meal.
YUMMY!!
Garden egg stew can also be served with boiled yam, potatoes or even rice.

Why I FORGIVE but do not FORGET!

Forgiveness...

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
Mahatma Gandhi.
We all know that to err is human but to forgive, divine. Forgiveness is what is needed for a  happy living. It is either that we need to forgive or be forgiven. Every body needs forgiveness to live a happy life on this planet. When we forgive, it brings healing to us. I remember when I was younger,  kids still say it innocently anyway. once a child is hurt, what you hear is "I will never forgive you for this."

I never heard my kids say this until my 9 year old came back from school one day, that is about three years ago, and while they played on the floor, her younger sister hurt her or something, and then I heard her go...   " I will never forgive you for this." That was the first time I heard this in my house. I wanted to just ignore her,

A listening ear, the greatest gift ever

I was jotting down some notes on my 'To Do" list last night, I hear footsteps behind but I'm too engrossed to look up. Then I hear footsteps walking away and turned to see my daughter walking away. So, I called and inquired what the matter was and she says " I want you to look at my scores from school. I was talking to you but I guess you are busy so I will come back when you are done" My heart sank, I felt bad. Called her back, looked at the scores and congratulated her. Then, she livened up and asked why I was  looking at my write up while talking to her?

This short story may not be related to my post. However, it kind of reminded me that the greatest gift I can give to my LO or DOs is A Listening Ear. You can imagine what it feels like when you have an important information for someone and while you are talking, she feels or looks distracted.

Beauty Tips For My Face

These tips are what works for my face. No matter how hard I try, if I do not get enough rest, the pimple ( acne) just won't go. Without any efforts, my face bounces back to it's freshness when I include green veggies and fruits in my meals and then do these three major things: A smooth face is easy to have and maintain, if only we constantly do what works for our faces.

  1. Rest whenever I sense that my body is tired.
  2. Sleep sleep sleep.
  3. Remember not to go to bed with make-up
It feels like the second point is impossible but it is't. We cannot get enough sleep because of our priorities and time management. If we take some minutes out of the time we use for each of these:

How I Manage My Kids In Public Places

Unruly children in public can be such a handful. They can get even the most patient of parents screaming and yelling if s/he does not constantly caution herself.
Successful  and stress-free managing of kids in public starts right at home before we set out.
Tutoring and reminders help me a lot. One thing I have realized over the years is that every time I take kids out without having a word with them at home, we get the same old results of rowdiness, difficulty in managing them, At the end of the day, we come back home really tired as a result of a stressful outing.
These are some of my tips:

Appreciation and Respect in Marriage

To show appreciation is to show a feeling of being grateful for having my spouse and being grateful for the the  things he does, even the little things.
To respect my husband is to  show polite behavior because I think that he is important. in my life. Appreciation and   respect cannot be separated. The two go together. If I have
